Traditionally, Kagami Biraki happens at the beginning of the year. It is a time when we reflect on the past. Martial arts clubs sometimes mark Kagami Biraki with the first training of the year. At NOX however it is a celebration that we have in and around Chinese New Year. This year however, conflicting schedules means it will be held Sunday, April 8th from 4:30 to 6:30.
During Kagami Baraki, we will be awarded Black Belt certificates and belts to our newest graduates, having demonstrations, awards, and prizes. It is open to everyone and mandatory for the team members and black belts to attend and be a part of the show. On top of all this is an amazing all you can eat Chinese buffet.
We have been offered a space in a banquet facility at Mon Sheong where they have a full catering division.
